Through the lens of Performance & Recovery
Cold therapy built around your training load
For athletes and physically active people, whole-body cryotherapy is a fast, low-impact way to manage the soreness and inflammation that follow hard sessions, competition and long days on your feet. Three minutes in the chamber fits between a workout and the rest of your day.
- 01Post-training and post-competition recovery

Overview
Recover between efforts, not just after them
Hard training creates micro-damage and inflammation in muscle and connective tissue. That is how you adapt, but it also leaves you sore, stiff and slower to return to quality work.
Whole-body cryotherapy exposes the body to extremely cold, dry air for two to three minutes. The rapid cooling triggers vasoconstriction, then a rebound in circulation once you step out. Many athletes use it after intense sessions, between competition days and during periods of high training volume to feel fresher, sooner.
Our team can position sessions around your schedule (post-game, the morning after a long run or between double sessions) and pair them with other recovery modalities when useful.
Benefits & Goals
Why athletes use cryotherapy
01
Reduction in inflammation
Intense cold may help calm the inflammatory response that follows heavy training, contact and impact.
02
Less post-exercise soreness
Many athletes report reduced delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) after sessions, especially during high-volume blocks.
03
Faster turnaround
Useful between games, heats or double training days when there is little time to recover.
04
Injury recovery support
Can complement a provider- or physio-led plan for strains, overuse and joint irritation. It does not replace medical care.
05
Circulation after exertion
The vasoconstriction-then-rebound effect supports blood flow once you leave the chamber.
06
Sleep and readiness
Many guests notice deeper sleep and feel more alert on the days after a session.
What to Expect
A session, start to finish
2–3 minutes in the chamber; about 15 minutes in total
- 01Screening and goalsWe review your health history, current training load and any injuries so the session suits you.
- 02PrepareDry clothing off, with gloves, socks and slippers provided to protect extremities.
- 03Cold exposureTwo to three minutes in the chamber with a team member beside you the whole time. You can stop at any point.
- 04Rewarm and moveLight movement afterwards helps circulation rebound. You can train, drive or head to work immediately.
Most athletes use it after intense sessions or competition, or on recovery days. If you are in a strength-focused block, we may suggest spacing it a few hours from lifting. Ask our team to plan timing around your programme.
